Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) Scavengers

PETROLAB´s technology team has developed a large variety of high performance H₂S scavengers for different applications

Following are some examples:

•  PETROLAB GS-1A
  An oil soluble H₂S scavenger used mainly in treating sour oil and gas systems, PETROLAB GS-1A is chemically and physically compatible with oil and gas treating chemicals, such as demulsifiers, defoamers and corrosion inhibitors. The product features immediate reaction with hydrogen sulfide and is very effective even at low dosage rates.

• PETROLAB GS-3W
  A water soluble H₂S scavenger, PETROLAB GS-3W neutralizes hydrogen sulfide and its ions HS- and S= through a unique oxidizing reaction producing atomic sulfur (So). PETROLAB GS-3W is recommended for use in high BSW production systems, produced water treating systems, disposal water treating stations and other applications where high amounts of sour aqueous streams are treated against H₂S, including sour oily waters.
